IJCHI publishes the following types of manuscripts:

All manuscripts should address topics at the intersection of computing and health informatics.

Current Submission Fee

$11 per paper

This fee covers the costs of peer review and editorial processing. Authors from developing countries may be eligible for fee waivers.

No. IJCHI only accepts manuscripts that are not under consideration by any other journal.

Ethical Violation: Submitting a manuscript that is under review elsewhere violates our publication ethics policy and may result in immediate rejection and possible ban from future submissions.

Yes. Authors retain copyright of their work.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), which allows:

  • Others to share, copy, and redistribute the material
  • Others to adapt, remix, and build upon the work
  • Proper attribution to the original authors

Submission Process

PDF format is required for initial submission.

Requirements:

  • PDF file should not contain any identifying information (for double-blind review)
  • Remove author names, affiliations, and acknowledgments

  • Include all figures and tables within the PDF
  • Supplemental materials can be uploaded separately

After acceptance: You will need to provide editable source files (Word/LaTeX).

Yes, but revisions are only allowed in specific situations:

  • Before review begins: Contact the editorial office to request a revision
  • After reviewer feedback: Submit a revised version through your dashboard
  • Include a response to reviewer comments with your revision
  • Highlight changes made in the revised manuscript
Note: Unnecessary revisions may delay the review process. Make sure your initial submission is complete.

English is the official language of IJCHI.

Language guidelines:

  • Use clear, concise, and grammatically correct English
  • British or American English is acceptable (but be consistent)
  • Abstracts and keywords must be in English
  • Technical terms and acronyms should be defined

Authors who are not native English speakers may use professional editing services to improve their manuscript.
