IJCHI adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Ethical Principles
Authorship
- All authors must have made significant contributions
- All authors must approve the final version
- All authors must agree to be accountable for the work
- Ghostwriting and guest authorship are prohibited
- Corresponding author must be clearly identified
- Author order must reflect contributions
Originality
- Submitted work must be original and unpublished
- All sources must be properly cited
- Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited
- Self-plagiarism is not allowed
- Duplicate submissions are forbidden
- Proper attribution of others' work is required
Data Integrity
- Research data must be accurate and complete
- Data fabrication or falsification is unacceptable
- Authors must retain raw data for verification
- Data sharing is encouraged when possible
- Methods must be described in sufficient detail
- Statistics must be reported accurately
Conflict of Interest
- All conflicts of interest must be disclosed
- Financial, personal, or professional conflicts must be declared
- Editors and reviewers must recuse themselves if conflicts exist
- Funding sources must be acknowledged
- Commercial affiliations must be declared
- Transparency in all relationships is required

- Ensure manuscript is original
- Obtain permission for copyrighted material

- Maintain confidentiality

Key Policies
Plagiarism Policy
All submissions screened using plagiarism detection software. Similarity above 20% triggers rejection.
Retraction Policy
Articles retracted if they contain errors, ethical violations, or unreproducible findings.
Appeals Policy
Authors may appeal editorial decisions by providing additional evidence or clarifications.
Correction Policy
Minor errors in published articles corrected through errata or corrigenda notices.
