The Review Process
Invitation to Review
You receive an email invitation with the manuscript title and abstract. Accept or decline based on your expertise and availability.
Access the Manuscript
If you accept, you will receive access to the full manuscript and review form through our online system.
Complete Your Review
Evaluate the manuscript based on the criteria below. Submit your review within 2-3 weeks.
Recommendation
Provide a clear recommendation: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.
Review Criteria
Originality
Is the work novel and original? Does it contribute significantly to the field?
Methodology
Is the research design appropriate? Are the methods described clearly and correctly?
Results
Are the results presented clearly? Are statistical analyses appropriate?
Discussion
Are the findings interpreted appropriately? Are limitations acknowledged?
References
Are the references relevant and up-to-date? Are all citations correct?
Clarity
Is the manuscript well-written and clearly organized? Is the language appropriate?
Ethical Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript
- Declare any conflicts of interest
- Complete reviews within the specified timeframe
- Provide constructive, respectful feedback
- Be objective and unbiased
- Report any ethical concerns
Writing a Good Review
Be Specific
Provide specific examples and page numbers when pointing out issues.
Be Constructive
Focus on improving the manuscript rather than criticizing the authors.
Be Objective
Evaluate the work, not the authors. Avoid personal comments.
Be Clear
Clearly state your recommendation and the reasoning behind it.
